Sometimes an image stays in my 'New' folder because I just keep coming back to it for some compelling reason that I just can't place. This is one of those. I really like the composition of the elements including the gum tree pods in the background, the lens distortion adds a sense of movement to the right and the tones and muted hues just seem harmonious, or maybe it's just the sense of comfort conveyed by the worn wood and shoes.
